The First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) in the U.S. Department of Commerce, with DOE as a cooperating agency, has prepared a Draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) to analyze the potential environmental impacts of a proposal to design, deploy and operate the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network. This Draft PEIS covers the Eastern United States.
