The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office (HFTO) hosted a workshop titled "Hydrogen Infrastructure Priorities to Enable Deployment in the High-Impact Transportation Sector" on February 27–28, 2024, in Alexandria, Virginia.
The objective of the workshop was to identify and prioritize research, development, and demonstration needs and targets required to enable deployment of medium- and heavy-duty (MD/HD) vehicles and fueling infrastructure. The attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on several critical topics including essential cryogenic infrastructure, testing and validation capabilities, and address hydrogen losses and recovery along the value chain.
