Western Area Power Administration and the San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water Authority (Authority) as joint federal and state lead agencies, issued a final EIS/Environmental Impact Report that assesses the potential environmental impacts of the proposed San Luis Transmission Project. Western proposes to construct, own, operate, and maintain a new 230-kilovolt transmission line between its Tracy and San Luis Substations and a new 70-kV transmission line between the San Luis and O'Neill Substations.
