The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Arizona State University (ASU) to develop a novel system for the cultivation of cyanobacteria for biofuel production applications. The system would capture and deliver CO2 from the air to cyanobacterial strains that would in turn produce inputs for biofuel production.
