CX-027177: Columbia University - Development of Biological and Electrochemical Technologies for the Clean Extraction of Copper and Critical Materials from Low Grade Ores

The project will (1) improve yield of copper extraction and improve separation pathways, (2) characterize an electrochemical regeneration process, (3) determine the fate of other elements generated in the extraction process, and (4) to evaluate and apply a techno-economic analysis of the process.
