The benefits of Federal hydropower are shared over Southwestern’s six-state marketing area in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Over 5.6 billion kilowatt-hours of energy are marketed annually within this six-state region from interconnected Federal hydropower projects, and more than 10 million end users are served by the municipalities, electric cooperatives, and military installations to which Southwestern markets wholesale power and energy.
