The U.S. Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation Research & Development proposes to provide financial assistance, over a period of 5 years, to the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) to establish the Consortium for Enabling Technologies and Innovation. The scope of this consortium covers improvements and innovative concepts for enabling technologies that support the nonproliferation mission. Research would be focused on the three thrust areas: (1) advanced computing techniques (2) advanced manufacturing techniques to predict and understand unique signatures of potential proliferation, and (3) novel instrumentation to leverage modern capabilities.
