Summary
DOE’s Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) prepared DOE/EA-1698 to analyze the potential environmental impacts of granting an interconnection request to Baldwin Wind, LLC, for a new, 50 megawatt wind energy farm in Burleigh County, North Dakota. Because Baldwin Wind applied to DOE for a loan guarantee under Title XVII of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, as amended, the EA also analyzed the construction and operation of the wind energy farm.
