Technical Support Document for Proposed Rule (November 2023)

This Technical Support Document supplements the Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Notice of Proposed Rulemaking titled DOE NEPA Implementing Procedures (RIN 1990-AA48). In this Technical Support Document, DOE presents the proposed changes to its NEPA implementing procedures (10 CFR part 1021, subpart D, appendices B, C, and D) and provides information that supplements the preamble’s discussion of the supporting basis for the proposed changes.
