This DOE guidance contains recommendations for the efficient and effective distribution of a draft, final, or supplemental environmental impact statement (EIS) consistent with CEQ and DOE regulations implementing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Environmental Protection Agency’s Amended Environmental Impact Statement Filing System Guidance (2012). It also includes recommendations for the distribution of environmental assessments, and provides template distribution letters.
