DOE issued a Final EA that evaluates the potential environmental impacts of issuing a Presidential permit for a new, 72-mile long, 1,000 megawatt, high-voltage direct current, electric transmission system that would cross the international border with Canada in Lake Erie and connect to the proposed Erie Converter Station in Conneaut Township, Pennsylvania.
