Algenol Integrated Biorefinery for Producing Ethanol from Hybrid Algae; Freeport, Texas, or Fort Myers, Florida

DOE issued a final EA that analyzes the potential environmental impacts of providing federal funding to Algenol Biofuels, Inc. for the design, construction, and startup of a direct-to-ethanol pilot-scale integrated biorefinery in either Freeport, Texas or Fort Myers, Florida.
