Engineered Geothermal Enhancement System Demonstration Project; Lake County, California

Based on DOE/EA-1680, DOE adopted the final EA and issued a finding of no significant impact to provide partial federal funding for a proposal by AltaRock Energy, Inc. and the Northern California Power Agency to deepen an existing injection well within the BLM managed Geysers Management Area to harness produced steam as energy in Lake County California.
