DOE extended the public comment period on a proposed finding of no significant impact based on DOE/EA-0400, which analyzed the potential environmental impacts of the proposed Consolidated Incineration Facility at the Savannah River Site. The proposed facility would incinerate hazardous, mixed, and low-level radioactive wastes prior to disposal.
