The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Arizona State University (ASU) to develop a novel system, called AUDACity, for the cultivation of cyanobacteria for biofuel production applications. The AUDACity system would capture and deliver CO2 from the air to cyanobacterial strains that would in turn produce inputs for biofuel production.
