The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to the University of Tennessee-Knoxville (UTK) to design and prepare polymer membranes, characterize them, and test them for performance under fuel cell relevant conditions. The membranes would be improved for long durability under variable humidity and temperature.
