The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to Signetron to develop a novel process for building envelope retrofits. The process would seek to reduce the completion time of retrofits through the incorporation of 3D laser scanning technology and software to convert 3D images into usable computer files for panel fabrication.
