The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to the Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES; an engineering research agency within The Texas A&M University System governed by the Board of Regents) to design and test a scalable, robust, and online framework that provides secure monitoring of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation in the presence of potential cyberattacks in the distribution grid.
