The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to General Motors (GM) to develop catalysts and membrane materials for integration into a novel fuel cell membrane electrode assembly (MEA). The MEA would be fabricated and performance-tested for medium- and heavy-duty vehicle (HDV) applications. The project would seek to enhance the durability of the MEAs developed.
