The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to the University of South Florida (USF) to create, optimize, and evaluate flexible metal-organic frameworks (FlexMOFs) for natural gas (NG) storage and release. Parallel investigations into hydrogen storage would also be pursued. The project would be completed over three Budget Periods (BPs), with a Go/No-Go Decision Point in between each BP.
