The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing funding under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022: State-Based Home Energy Efficiency Contractor Training Competitive Grant Program, (Training for Residential Energy Contractors, or TREC), Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) Number: DE-FOA-0003316. The awards under TREC would provide grant funding to States for the purpose of training, testing, and certifying residential energy contractors.
