The Department of Energy is proposing to provide funding to the State of South Carolina Energy Office (SC Energy) to design and install an approximate 660 kilowatt (kW) photovoltaic (PV) system on the roof of Sportsman Boats Manufacturing, Inc. (Sportsman) in Summerville, SC. Project components would include the installation of solar PV panels, conduit, racks, wires, inverters, and an approximate 480 kW-hour battery energy storage system (BESS).
