The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is proposing to use uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) to collect data from the Plantaforma Solar de Almeria (PSA) commercial concentrating solar power (CSP) plant in Almeria, Spain. Flights would occur over multiple days between late September and early October of 2024.
