The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to Oregon State University (OSU) to support operations at the Pacific Marine Energy Center (PMEC). The DOE Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO) previously provided funding support for the establishment of four National Marine Energy Centers (NMECs) to increase marine energy research and development and bolster testing infrastructure.
