The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to Purdue University Northwest (Purdue) for the analysis, design, fabrication, and demonstration of alternative injection technologies in an Electric Arc Furnace (EAF).  Simulation model development and analysis from electric arc furnace modeling, the development of visualization tools, and the direction and management of the project would occur at Purdue in Hammond, Indiana.
