The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to administer funding to CertainTeed, LLC (CT) to install solar collecting parabolic mirrors and an expansion tank to collect solar energy at CT’s manufacturing plant and reduce carbon emissions. Award activities would be carried out at CT’s industrial manufacturing facility (Shakopee, MN) and would include the construction and field installation of ten solar collecting parabolic mirrors.
