The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Georgia Institute of Technology to design, develop, fabricate, and test electrolyte, electrode, and catalyst materials for highly efficient and durable solid oxide electrolysis cells based on proton conductors. Award activities would be conducted in various facilities at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA and the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND.
