The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to Plug Power Inc. to establish a manufacturing process of proton exchange membrane electrolyzers at the multi-gigawatt scale. These activities would develop improved formulation processes, automate electrolyzer stack manufacturing and assembly, and improve the testing process.
