The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to the Colorado School of Mines to design and develop a flexible combined heat and power system capable of being fueled by low-carbon fuel sources, including pure hydrogen, hydrogen-natural-gas blends, and biogas. The project activities would reduce capital expenditures in ultra-high efficiency, low emission combined heat-and-power systems.
