CX-030813: Funding for NMEC Operations (SNMREC)

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to Florida Atlantic University (FAU) to support operations at the Southeast National Marine Renewable Energy Center (SNMREC). The DOE Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO) previously provided funding support for the establishment of four National Marine Energy Centers (NMECs) to increase marine energy research and development and bolster testing infrastructure. The SNMREC is one of the four NMECs established under the program.
