The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to refurbish a deactivated rooftop photovoltaic (PV) system at the Terry Sanford Federal Building in Raleigh, North Carolina. Activities would include removal of 2,352 existing deteriorated PV panels and replacement with 1,268 state-of-the-art panels, restoring the system’s capacity to 546-kilowatts.
