March 21, 2024The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to University of Michigan for mapping and modeling of automotive supply chains; dismantling of end-of-life vehicle systems; and design, casting, and testing of recycled aluminum extrusion alloys. Award activities would focus primarily on laboratory design of aluminum alloys and low-energy scrap processing.
