This EEC applies to the cleaning, cutting and dissolution of Plutonium (Pu) metal. All activities are performed in a glove box. The Plutonium Metal dissolution process could be used on Plutonium Metal Sample Exchange (PMSE) performance evaluation samples from Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) and Plutonium metal standards.
