This task is to identify alternative cleaning agents to Vertrel MCA. Vetrel MCA is being removed from the market due to EPA regulations. This task will selectively soil stainless steel coupons and clean them with a variety of solvents. The efficacy of the cleaning will be measured using a contact angle measuring device. Hydrocarbons will be measured using Fourier Transform infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR).
