The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide federal funding to North Carolina State University (NCSU) to demonstrate a lung-inspired variable-capacity evaporator technology for low-global warming potential (GWP) blended refrigerants at the laboratory scale. Project activities are divided into three budget periods (BP) with a Go/No Go Decision Point between the BPs.
