The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) to synthesize platinum group metal (PGM)-free metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and MOF-based heterostructures via a hydrothermal strategy herein referred to as catalysts.
