The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to provide funding to the Paskenta Band of Nomlaki Indians to install two roof-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on their newly constructed Community Center. PV arrays are being installed in order to reduce electricity costs, support economic development, and enhance energy self-determination and sustainability.
