The proposed activity (PA) is for the design/implementation of DCPs, see below, and the migration to M580 Hardware, see CMTs below, for PCMs 0-5, and 7-15. The HANM Distributed Control System (DCS) uses Novatech 16000 Series I/O modules to interface with field instrumentation and controls. These modules are outdated and difficult to obtain. This PA will provide the design information needed for Tritium Process Controls & Automation personnel to replace the existing 16000 Series I/O with Modicon .X80 Series. DCS modifications will not require changes to field wiring. Existing DCS hardware in the PCM and PTM cabinets will be removed and prefabricated panels with pre-tested replacement components will be mounted within the same cabinets as per design. PMTs will be performed to verify system functionality.
