CX-018223: Advanced Test Reactor Low Enriched Uranium Fuel Development

The purpose of this revision is to capture additional project scope. The original Environmental Checklist analyzed the environmental impacts from the fabrication, irradiation, and post-irradiation examination of experiments and test elements to support the National Nuclear Security Administration’s United States High Performance Research Reactor program to convert high enriched uranium fueled reactors to low enriched uranium fuel. This revision adds receiving low enriched uranium fuel elements at the Nuclear Materials Inspection and Storage facility to support testing in the Advanced Test Reactor Critical facility, irradiation in the Advanced Test Reactor, and post irradiation examination at the Materials and Fuels Complex.
