CX-018216: Materials and Fuels Complex Vehicle Barrier Removal

The vehicle barrier on Buchanan Boulevard at the Materials and Fuels Complex needs to be removed. The proposed action removes and disposes vehicle barriers number 1 and number 2, along with the drain, hydraulic lines and hydraulic fluid. Scope includes removal of asphalt, concrete foundations, transportation barriers, signal lights, and wiring. After removal of the vehicle barriers, the proposed action builds the roadbed with compacted pit-run and base course material, grades shoulders and areas adjacent to the roadway, and installs asphalt pavement on the roadway.
