The Department of Energy is proposing to provide federal funding to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to perform laboratory research investigating the feasibility of using pyrite nanostructures in photovoltaic (PV) solar devices. The goal of the proposed project would be to improve the efficiency of pyrite-based PV devices.
