Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) is proposing to add six wooden prop structures to the McNary-Horse Heaven No. 1 230-kilovolt transmission line between structures 15/2-16/3. The prop structures are needed to raise the existing line so that the conductor meets the necessary Minimum Approach Distance from the orchard below. An augur truck would use existing BPA roads to access the site and install wooden poles.
