November 18, 2020The Office of Fossil Energy (FE) of the Department of Energy (DOE) gives notice of receipt of an application (Application) filed on October 7, 2020, by Bradford County LNG Marketing LLC (Bradford), requesting long-term, multi-contract authorization to export domestically produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) up to the equivalent of 128 billion cubic feet of natural gas per year to Free Trade Agreement (FTA) countries. The authorization is requested through December 31, 2050. Bradford seeks authorization to export LNG sourced from a natural gas liquefaction and truck and rail loading facility in Wyalusing Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. One destination of the LNG transported by rail or truck from the Wyalusing Facility will be the multi-use, deep-water seaport and industrial logistics center, the Gibbstown Logistics Center, in Gibbstown, New Jersey (the “Gibbstown Facility”). The Gibbstown Facility is located adjacent to the Delaware River on the grounds of the former DuPont Repauno Site. Bradford requests this authorization on its own behalf as agent for other parties who hold title to the LNG at the time of export. A Federal Register Notice will not be issued.
