DOE is awarding a sole source contract to EHI Consultants, Lexington, KY, a HUBZone certified small business to provide support services for the citizen advisory boards & site-specific advisory boards for Portsmouth and Paducah gaseous diffusion plants.
The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM) awarded the Portsmouth Infrastructure Support Services contract to North Wind Dynamics, LLC (NWD), a small business from Idaho Falls, Idaho.
EM’s Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO) recently awarded its Portsmouth Site decontamination and decommissioning contractor nearly $30.1 million, or about 85% of the total fee available for the evaluation period of October 2019 through March 2021.
EM Acting Assistant Secretary William “Ike” White visited the Portsmouth Site last month to get a firsthand look at demolition and disposal progress as part of the ongoing decontamination and decommissioning of the site.
