The U.S. Department of Energy's Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office (HFTO) and SAMPE North America will co-host the Advanced Materials for Hydrogen Infrastructure Technologies Workshop May 22 at the SAMPE 2024 Conference and Exhibition in Long Beach, California. The workshop will explore current challenges and opportunities for the use of fiber-reinforced composites in hydrogen infrastructure applications. HFTO presenters include Ned Stetson, program manager; Zeric Hulvey, technology manager; and Asha-Dee Celestine, ORISE fellow.

This workshop follows a pair of related workshops held earlier this year, including a hydrogen infrastructure workshop hosted by HFTO in January, which included more than 200 attendees and 20 speakers for a two-day session on hydrogen infrastructure strategies to enable deployment across high-impact sectors, and a two-day hydrogen infrastructure priorities session in late February focused on high-impact transportation deployment.

The workshop is available to all SAMPE 2024 registered attendees.
