As part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s Investing in America agenda, the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) today opened applications for up to $400 million to spur innovative, community-focused, clean energy solutions for rural and remote communities across the United States.
The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Electricity announced the launch of the Community Microgrid Assistance Partnership (C-MAP). This initiative assists remote, rural, and electrically isolated communities in developing resilient microgrid systems.
Funding will support field data collection that can expand geothermal deployment and help state, regional, and Tribal stakeholders find and access geothermal energy.
