Mayra Barbosa serves as a Procurement Analyst for the Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Office of Technology Transitions (OTT), responsible for establishing contract acquisition planning for new and current contracts. In this role, Mayra assists OTT management in establishing an effective procurement strategy for all OTT contracting. Mayra is also responsible for the current contract administration and understanding pre-award, post-award, and contract administration. Mayra is a certified FAC-C Professional and COR Level 2.
Before OTT, she served as a Contracting Officer (CO) for the Department of Veterans Affairs NCO22, Supply Team 2 since 2018.
Mayra began her government career as a Palace Acquire Intern for the Department of the Air Force and has had experience since 2009 working as a Contract Specialist with the Air Force, Navy, and Marines.
Mayra earned her Master's in Management and Leadership from Webster University.
