Janice Staten is a dedicated and accomplished federal government employee with a wealth of experience spanning over a decade. Since joining the federal workforce in 2010, Janice has consistently demonstrated exceptional skills, a strong work ethic, and an unwavering commitment to public service.
Janice began her career at the U.S. Department of Energy as a Stay-in-School student in 1987-1989. She joined DOE again in 1997 as a Program Support Specialist in a contractor’s role. Janice quickly established herself as a diligent and motivated professional during this time. She supported the Office of Management (M.A.) for eight years and six months with EERS and Loan Programs Office until 2010, when she became a federal employee.
Over the years, Janice has contributed to several noteworthy projects that have positively impacted the federal government's operations and the communities it serves. She has worked independently with Program Officials and Department Offices to handle affairs essential to managing and ensuring a smooth process as the program's Headquarter Security Office (HSO), Property and Facility Manager, IT POC backup, and Travel Coordinator for 130 Feds and 140 Contractors.
Janice has consistently proven herself as a reliable and forward-thinking professional. She is dedicated to contributing to the L.P., which has allowed her to grow professionally, establish great relationships with her co-workers, and enjoy herself along the way.
Janice's commitment to professional development is evident in her pursuit of advanced education and training opportunities. She attended Southeastern University College in Washington, DC, for two years. She has actively participated in various workshops and seminars to stay updated with the latest advancements in her field.

Outside of work, Janice is actively involved in community service initiatives, volunteering her time and skills to support causes she is passionate about. She loves spending time with family, including her seven amazing grandchildren, shopping, and traveling (domestically and internationally) when time permits.
