Andrew Peoples is joining the Office of Technology Transitions (OTT) on detail from the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), where he serves as an Intergovernmental Affairs Specialist in the Office of External Affairs. His work over the past few years has focused on managing NNSA’s relationships with state and local stakeholders and serving as the primary point of contact for think tanks and the nongovernmental organization community. He previously served as a legislative analyst in NNSA’s Congressional Affairs office, where he developed legislative strategy and helped prepare the NNSA Administrator for congressional engagements.
Prior to joining NNSA, Andrew worked in state and local government roles, including a stint with the New York Governor’s federal relations office, where he focused on health and energy policy issues. He earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Georgia.
