Former Regional Intergovernmental and External Affairs Specialist, Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs
Blocker previously served as Associate of Constituent Services in the office of former Majority Leader Congressman Steny Hoyer. Throughout her four years with his office, she became a seasoned liaison responsible for helping constituents that needed help resolving issues with local, state, and federal government agencies. She also briefed the Congressman on pressing matters impacting his district, staffed him at various events, spoke on his behalf, and managed interns. She has also held positions on various local and state political campaigns. She is a time-two graduate from Bowie State University, earning a B.S. in Communications and an M.P.A. Blocker, and her husband, Juwan, lives in Maryland with their three children.
